Applies a planar align relationship between two parts in an assembly.
A planar align relationship is used to ensure that the planar face of one part remains parallel to and facing the same direction as the planar face of another part.
The faces can be coplanar or offset from each other. When you define a fixed offset, you can type a value for the offset distance.
When you define a floating offset, you can apply another relationship that controls the offset distance. You can also use an planar align relationship to position a part with respect to an element that is in a part, subassembly, or top-level assembly sketch.
Note:
Note: When you attempt to apply a planar align relationship that conflicts with other relationships, Solid Edge will try to apply a mate relationship.
