Controls settings for wire harness elements. These tab options are available in Harness Design.
Any changes you make to these option values are document-specific and will be saved only if you save the document. You can use the Properties dialog box to override the default values for these options.
Slack
Specifies the percentage that will be used to compute the amount of slack in the harness element. The default value is 5, which means the slack length used to compute the cut length will be five percent of the true length of the wire, cable, or bundle.
Added Length
Wires
Specifies the fixed amount of slack you want to add to the true length of wires when computing the cut length.
Cables
Specifies the fixed amount of slack you want to add to the true length of cables when computing the cut length.
Bundles
Specifies the fixed amount of slack you want to add to the true length of bundles when computing the cut length.
Clearance
Through Holes
Specifies the percentage to be used when computing the clearance between the harness element and any holes through which it passes. The default is 20, which means the hole diameter must be 1.2 times the harness element diameter.
Through Bundles
Specifies the percentage to be used when computing the clearance between the bundle and the harness elements making up the bundle. The default is 10, which means the inside diameter of the bundle must be 1.1 times the sum of the diameters of the harness elements.
