Opens the selected part or assembly document and activates the environment in which the document was created. You can use this command to in-place activate a part or subassembly to edit it in the context of the assembly. The display of the remaining parts and subassemblies is changed to indicate that you are editing the part within the context of the assembly.

You can also in-place activate an assembly component by double-clicking the component in PathFinder or the graphics window.
