The Remove command is available after an assembly has been exploded with the Explode or Automatic Explode commands.

Choose Home tab→Select. |

In the graphics window, select the part you want to remove. |

Choose Home tab→Explode group→Remove.

Tip:
When you remove a part from an explosion, it is hidden and returned to its native assembly position. You can use PathFinder to redisplay a removed part.
You can remove several parts in one operation by holding the Shift key and selecting the parts you want to remove.
You can remove all the parts in a bound subassembly by selecting one of the parts.
