Replaces a selected part with a new part you select.

If the part you are replacing has been placed more than once in the assembly, you can replace just the selected part, or all occurrences of the selected part.

Solid Edge indicates any assembly relationships that fail when you replace a part.  A symbol displays to the left of the failed relationship in the bottom pane of the PathFinder.
