The Send To Mail Recipient (As Attachment) command allows you to package Solid Edge files for markup and automatically adds the markup file as an attachment for an email. The recipient can use Insight Connect, XpresReview, or the Solid Edge free viewer to view the file. You can use the free viewer to view the contents of the file, but you must load Insight Connect or XpresReview if you want to create markups for the file.

When sending markup documents to others, you can use the View and Markup tab on the Option dialog box to set options for sending and opening the markup file. If it is a managed markup file, you can send a URL link to the document link instead of a copy of the file.  You can set the Enable Measure, Markup and Sectioning of PCF to enable the Measure, Markup, and Sectioning commands in XpresReview. You can also set the Remove Precise Geometry When Sending File option to reduce the size of the markup file.
