You can update linked information in a document whenever the linked information in the source document changes. You can choose to update links automatically or manually.
Note:
You can update manually only when you set the Update Now option with the Links command.
On the Manage menu, click Edit Links.
In the Links dialog box, select the linked information you want to update.
Do one of the following:
To update links automatically, set the Automatic option.
To update links manually, set the Manual option.
On the Manage menu, click Edit Links.
In the Links dialog box, select the linked information you want to update.
Click the Update Now button.
Tip:
When Solid Edge can no longer resolve a link because the folder and/or the file name has changed, you can change the link using the Change Source command on the Links dialog box.
