Align a hole to an edge center

  1. Choose Home tab→Solids group→Hole .

  2. Lock to a face plane.

  3. Pause over an edge on the locked face plane. This is the edge to align to. Press the M key to align the hole with the midpoint of the edge.

  4. Click to place the hole. After placing the hole, a horizontal and vertical relationship is added to maintain the midpoint alignment.
