Manufactured features

A manufactured feature is a set of faces generated from a collection of profile(s) and parameters that require a plane on which to exist. When you construct a manufactured feature, the sketches you draw are maintained, and they are used as a means to edit the feature. This differs from sketch-based features, in which the sketches are consumed when you construct the feature.

The following table lists typical manufactured features along with the appropriate environment for each.
