Assign a Teamcenter project to an item in Structure Editor

You can assign a project to a Teamcenter-managed item when you set the action to Save As in Structure Editor.

  1. With a document open in Structure Editor, double-click the Action column and select Save As.

  2. Assign the mandatory properties (Item ID, Revision, Item Name) by clicking Assign All or by entering the values.

  3. Double-click the Project ID cell to display the Select Projects dialog box.

    Note:

    Double-clicking the Project cell displays Teamcenter projects you have privileges to access. If projects are not defined in Teamcenter, the Projects column does not display.

  4. From the Projects listed on the left of the dialog box, you can:

    • Click a single project and then click Add to assign the selected project to your item.

    • Click Add All to assign all the listed projects to your item.

  5. Click OK to return to Structure Editor.

  6. Click Perform Action to create the item in Teamcenter with the properties and project you assigned.
