Solid Edge SP is configured to automatically generate simple unique content IDs for Number and Revision properties. If your company has a specific numbering scheme, your system administrator can configure Solid Edge SP to use advanced ID generation to use your company’s numbering system when you create a new item. You can also use your company’s numbering system when you Save As, Revise, Create Part In-Place, or Move an existing item.
Once the administrator configures and enables Solid Edge SP to use advanced ID generation, you can use the Configure dialog box to generate the Number and Revision properties.
Note:
This functionality is referred to as Smart Code technology in some applications.
IXT_Allow_User_Number=True
In the common property dialog box, the Number cell in a new document is editable.
IXT_Allow_User_Revision=True
In the common property dialog box, the Revision cell in a new document is editable.
