Solid Edge delivers a Visual Basic program named FrameComponentsUtility.exe to the Solid Edge ST6\Frames\Frame Component Utility folder. You can use this program to add your own frame components to the local library.
Before running the utility, it is very important that you properly create a valid component to work with the Frames command.
For guidelines, refer to the help topic, Creating a custom structural frame component: best practices.
To learn how to create and use custom frame components using FrameComponentsUtility.exe, we recommend the self-paced training module, Creating custom frame components, in the Solid Edge Frame Design course (spse01610).
