These commands on the Layers tab shortcut menu are available when you right-click the Layers group.
New Layer command
Creates a new layer on the drawing sheet.
Show All Layers command
Displays all layers on the drawing sheet.
Example:
When nested blocks are created using layers, and a block on one layer contains block graphics that reside on another layer, you can use the Show All Layers shortcut command to ensure that the block, and the block geometry that it references, are visible.
Hide All Layers command
Hides all layers on the drawing sheet.
Sort by Order Created command
Sorts all layers by the order in which they were created.
Sort by Ascending command
Sorts all layers alphabetically in ascending (A-Z) order.
Sort by Descending command
Sorts all layers alphabetically in descending (Z-A) order.

Show command
Displays the selected layer.
Hide command
Hides the selected layer.
Show Only command
Activates and displays the selected layer, turning off all other layers on the current drawing sheet.
Note:
When nested blocks are created using layers, and a block on one layer contains block graphics that reside on another layer, then the Show Only command does not display the geometry on the other layers. You can use the Show All Layers shortcut command to ensure that the block, and the block geometry that it references, are visible. Or you can use the Unblock command to unblock the blocks before selecting the Show Only command.
Note:
In profile, the Show Only command does not activate parts on other layers.
Show Everywhere command
Displays the selected layer on all drawing sheets.
Hide Everywhere command
Hides the selected layer on all drawing sheets.
Delete command
Deletes the selected layer.
Rename command
Renames the selected layer.
Properties command
Displays the Layer Properties dialog box.
