Replaces a selected master block and/or all block occurrences with another block you choose in the Replace Block dialog box. The default locations for all labels in the updated occurrences are those defined in the master block.

You cannot replace a block view.

The Replace block command is available only from a block's shortcut menu. When you replace from the Block Selection pane in the Block Library, all instances of the selected block in the active document will be replaced. When you replace a selected block occurrence in the drawing, you can choose whether to replace just that block or all occurrences of the block.
