On the command bar, on the Relationship Types list, click the Connect button.
If you are replacing a relationship you deleted on an existing part, select the part to be repositioned. If you are placing a new part into an assembly, go to step 3.
On the part you are positioning, select the element to be connected. You can select a keypoint, linear edge, or face.
Select the part in the assembly.
On the part in the assembly, select the element to which the first part is to be connected.
Press Enter.
Tip:
If you selected a key point on the part you are placing, you can select a key point, linear edge, or face on the part in the assembly.
If you selected a linear edge or face on the part you are placing, you can select a key point on the part in the assembly.
You can specify a positive or negative offset value with a connect relationship.
