Choose Surfacing tab→Surfaces group→Copy Surface

Select the surfaces you want to copy, then click the Accept button.
Finish the feature.
Tip:
You can use the options on the command bar to specify whether internal or external boundaries are removed from the new surface. You cannot remove external boundaries if any adjacent surfaces in the select set are stitched together.
