Removes the selected column from the display in the common property dialog box. The column display is restored by selecting the corresponding check box in the Format Columns dialog box. Columns containing required properties delivered by default cannot be hidden.

In Structure Editor, the command operates independently in each window pane. For example, hiding the Dataset Name column in the upper right window pane does not hide the Dataset Name column in the upper left window pane.
