You can add and remove balloons and other annotation types that are associated with an annotation alignment shape.
Press and hold the Alt key.
Click the annotation body, and drag it away from the annotation alignment shape.
Tip:
When detaching the annotation, only click the annotation. Do not click the leader, break line, or terminator.
Click and drag the new annotation to associate it with the annotation alignment shape.
Tip:
If the annotation alignment shape has uniform spacing, simply drag the new annotation to the correct location on the shape to position it. Existing annotations are automatically redistributed.
If you create a new annotation and the alignment shape does not highlight when you try to place it, you need to associate the annotation type with the shape. Select the alignment shape, click Properties on the command bar, and then on the Annotations tab select the check box corresponding to the annotation type you want to place.
