Find a missing multi-body published file

  1. To simulate a missing published file situation, move a published file to a new location.

  2. Open the parent multi-body file.

  3. Click the Multi-body Publish command.

  4. On the Multi-body Publish dialog box, the moved published file displays a question mark denoting "linked file cannot be found". Right-click the missing published file and choose Find.

  5. Locate the published file in the Select Part Copy dialog box and click OK.

  6. The Multi-body Publish dialog box updates showing a link status for the published file.
