Choose Application button→Manage→Revisions.
The Document Name defaults to the open document file name and the file properties are displayed.
Click New.
The Revise Document dialog box is displayed with the Assign All command enabled and the Revision column unassigned.
Note:
In the event the open document has been modified, but the changes have not been saved, you are notified that the changes you made will not be saved for the new revision. The new revision is based on the source document.
Assign a value to the Revision by either:
Clicking Assign All to assign the Revision to the unassigned rows.
Right-clicking inside the Revision cell of the document and selecting Assign.
If you want to edit a document property, click the property cell and edit the value in the text box.
Click OK to create the new revision of the document and upload it into Solid Edge SP.
Right-click a component you want to revise and choose Manage→Revisions.
The component must be on the immediate level of the assembly or subassembly containing the component.
Right-click the existing revision you want to use and choose Replace.
The selected revision replaces the selected component.
Right-click a component you want to revise and choose Manage→Revisions. The component must be on the immediate level of the assembly or subassembly containing the component.
The Document Name field defaults to the selected component.
On the Revisions dialog box, click New.
If you want to edit a component property, select the property and edit the value in the text box.
Click Assign All to assign a new revision to the document.
On the Upload Document dialog box, click OK.
The selected component is revised and uploaded into Solid Edge SP.
